They really care about each and every pet that comes in. They call and check up after treatment to see how it's going. And were very comforting when one of our cats passed away. Best vet in the area I've dealt with.

FALSE DIAGNOSIS.

We have 2 cats that are cared for at the Waterford Animal Hospital. When we call, all we do is say our name, or the name of the cat, and they know who we are. We have no complaints about the care our cats receive or the way we are treated. We've been coming here for years.

Was told my dog had a mass on his spleen. Because of financial reasons we went to another doctor for possible surgery.Come to find out, there was never a mass. This was a very sad and scary experience for our family! We do not want anyone else to go through this!!

I have a rescue dog who's first 3 years of her life were not very good so she can be tough to handle at the vets with other dogs and cats. The entire staff is so understanding and compassionate. They ensure all other animals are out of sight and have a room open so we can go right in. This helps with myself and my dogs anxiety.

Dr. Argawal is a very good and smart veternarian, but was incredibly aggressive with my dog who is terrified of getting her nails clipped. My dog is completely not aggressive, she wasn't growing or biting. She was scared, trying to get away. He literally put his knee on her neck and then restrained her legs as if she were getting hog tied. It breaks my heart that this is how he goes about treating a scared dog. On top of that, almost every time her nails have been clipped there, they mess it up, make her bleed, and reinforce her phobia. Dr. Argawal simply put, should not cut the nails of a terrified animal if he has to treat that animal like a savage beast to do so. There are so many ways he could have avoided manhandling a well behaved but scared pup. He could have asked us to come another day and prescribed her something to take an hour before: like Sileo (a medicine to reduce the reception of fear chemicals in her brain), that's for sure. Either way, after this, I have to find a new vet. I'm not okay with this lack of sympathy cut and dry approach he has. When dealing with a scared innocent animal, aggressive approaches like that are entirely inappropriate.
