So This took me along time to decide what to write. I had a really good and really bad experience here at Sears Auto Center. I had some tires that failed at 10,000 miles, I talked with Chris and James and we went thru the process to get a refund and process new tires for my Suburban. This part was Awesome super helpful going out of there way to help me and find the information I needed. Then installation day, if you get service done here you know there are huge windows and you can see into the service bays. As my suburban was being worked on in plain view the technician was switching out my tires and in the process of setting the tire monitors on the lift he was using the drivers door handle to get up and down into the truck. When both myself and my wife called the next day they told her they didn't do it. I in turn went in and spoke to Corey and he seemed to visibly be concerned about my situation. The next after talking with Sears they said we didn't say anything soon enough and that it was our problem. They claimed they sent it to the insurance and it got denied. I didn't believe it would you ? I have worked in the Service industry for over 20 years and If I did this to any one of my customers I would of lost my job no questions asked. Its amazing how they are willing to loose a customer spending over $1,200 over a $100 mistake. If you go here check your car before and after the service, take photos and video while they brake your vehicle in the service bay.
Had them look at my car for shake in the searing wheel told me it was both inner tyrods and both control arms said it be 1100 to fix I brought it somewhere else for the repairs and it ended up being a bad tire that there was nothing wrong with tyrods or control arms. I say go somewhere else for check ups
I called to get a quote on an oil and filter change and had me on hold for more than ten minutes.
I DON’T RECOMMEND SEARS AUTO CENTER, I went to the store to buy and install new front tires and oil change. When I got back home I realized that I had a plastic cover underneath the car hanging, I was dragging it all my way home, I tried to go back to the shop and the cover almost came off, now I waiting in the middle of the road for a tow truck to bring me to the shop, and fix this issue. NEVER AGAIN SEARS.
The staff was friendly, the prices seemed reasonable and the work was performed well. However, when I checked out, they recommended that I top off my power steering fluid and transmission fluid. I had just finished paying close to $300 for my service. Why couldn't they top off the needed fluids or at least ask me if I would want the appropriate serviced performed?
